Housing
Rockwell Fund will provide grants to organizations
providing supportive housing, defined as affordable housing coupled
with on-site client support such as intensive case management and
wraparound services.
We recognize that investing in supportive housing is an
effective way to reduce homelessness, foster self-sufficiency and
help individuals and families live more stable, productive
lives.
We will support organizations that provide supportive housing
that targets families and individuals with the capacity to become
self-sufficient. Housing should be coupled with supportive
services that cater to needs of the client population, and can
include:
- Resident services and assistance delivered by on-site staff
such as life skills classes, tutoring and assistance for youth,
etc., or
- Intensive case management models that link clients to
appropriate systems of care, resources and opportunities to
enable the client to address and overcome complex social service
needs.
We will also support organizations that engage in advocacy
efforts related to RFI housing priorities (by invitation
only).
